Stepping away from business

We only talked about the weather every 20 minutes, because are you even in the UK this week if you're not talking about the weather?

But when you’re delivering a leadership workshop in a stunning setting, surrounded by great humans, blue skies and big thinking… the environment is pretty blinking crucial to getting the cogs whirring.

Stepping away from business as usual to looking up at what could be done differently was the order of the day with the brilliant senior leadership team at Julius Baer in Guernsey - a powerful morning all about building leadership legacy and embracing adaptive, future-fit mindsets.

We reimagined, we considered “What if we did it differently?” with that all powerful space to simply pause, reflect and diversify thinking. Leadership, challenge, navigating change, legacy-building? That’s a universal language.

There's nothing that gets my noggin niggling more than being the room understanding other people's thinking, asking the questions and seeing different perspectives. And when you're doing in a beautiful setting in the sunshine; it doesn't get much better.

The journey back up north along the hideous M25 was definitely not as fun. Wine gums kept me going.

And blimey o'riley, it was a scorcher. I was very grateful for the air con in my car.

Now then, surely it's time for something chilled in the sun to welcome in the weekend. (but it's soooooooo hot.)

Thanks, as ever, to the fabulous Raise the Bar for the opportunity
